Spray Tan, Airbrush Tan, Sunless Tan, Mobile Tanning, Sunkissed Tan,


Your skin must NOT be dry and flaky on the day of you airbrush session.  If you tend to have dry skin, you will want to apply a generous amount of lotion to your body before bed each night for a few night prior to your tanning session.  You can even apply the day of your tanning session as long as you take a shower and rinse all of the lotion off of your body.

Shower and EXFOLIATE ALL OVER prior to your session to remove all of the dead skin cells from the first layer of skin where the sunless airbrush tan will be applied.  Your skin must be smooth, clean and dry to get a smooth clean tan.  Exfoliation prior to your airbrush tanning session promotes even coverage and lengthens the duration of your tan.
Make sure to shave and wax at least 24 hours before your spray tan. Your skin MUST be clean from all lotions, perfumes/cologne, body oils, powders and deodorant. Lotion and deodorant act as barriers and can even turn your tan green.
Wear loose fitting, dark clothing and flip-flop shoes after your spray tan session.  Tight or rough clothes, such as jeans will rub on your skin, and reduce the effect of your tan.  The bronzer in the sunless airbrush tanning solution may rub off on clothing however; it will wash out of most fabrics except for leather and synthetic fabrics, so these should not be worn in the first 24 hours after the spray tan session.

Do not shower or get wet for at least 6-8 hours after your airbrush tanning session.  DHA continues to react with the amino acids of your skin for up to 12 hours.  Make sure that you pat dry after you shower or bathe.  Please DO NOT RUB!
Long hot baths or long showers are great for pre-tan exfoliation, but can cause a tan to fade prematurely.  The skin soaks and softens with length of time exposed and this can speed up the exfoliation process.  Also avoid exfoliating scrubs after your airbrush tan as this can cause your tan to fade prematurely.

Swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub will shorten the length of your tan.  Applying a waterproof sunblock prior to swimming may help reduce fading. 
Apply baby powder onto the skin prior to working out or excessive sweating. The powder will absorb the sweat and prevent the tan from stripping prematurely.
 Apply daily moisturizer morning and evening after your 1st post-tan shower.  This will help prolong the life of your tan.  If you do not apply lotion then your tan will not last as long.
